An incomplete excerpts from a German manuscript labeled "I.K., Opus Postumum" is a sheaf of old papers that can be found in the Merga's Realm. Phillip Kindred is unable to translate and understand any of the text, while examining the papers during the encounter, but is pretty sure that it is a fragment of a larger work.
The title of the work, "Opus Postumum" suggest that the initials of the author, I.K. stand for Immanuel Kant, a German philosopher of great renown, considered to be the one of the fathers of the modern philosophy.
While the character, and players along him, cannot say what the text exactly contains, the presence of that papers in the Merga Realm means that the Wraiths did in fact interfere with humanity's past. In this case, by removing or modifying the parts of the Kant's life's work.
